Discovery Day 2026: Registration Is Now Open!

Two days dedicated to data, artificial intelligence, and practical solutions

Discovery Day Sofia has officially announced the opening of registration for the sixth edition of the conference and introduced its new website, which brings together everything about the event in one place.

In June 2026, Sofia will bring together data professionals from Bulgaria and Europe, as well as international experts, for the exchange of experience and sharing of trends.

From a community gathering in 2016 to an internationally recognized platform today – Discovery Day Sofia continues to grow with exceptionally strong support from the business sector, high interest from the community, and excellent feedback from participants, partners, and speakers.

With each edition, the conference reinforces Sofia’s position as a stage for international exchange of expertise and places Bulgaria as an active participant in the global conversation on data and technology. This sustained interest and engagement lead to the next step in the event’s development – an expanded two-day format in 2026.

Discovery Day 2026 maintains its focus on business and technology, with a program structured to cover the different roles, technologies, and topics within the Microsoft Data ecosystem.

The first day – June 3 – will be dedicated to a business seminar and specialized pre-conference training sessions. The business seminar is aimed at leaders, managers, and experts who make strategic decisions, and will explore how data and artificial intelligence are becoming real tools for vision, efficiency, and sustainable growth. In parallel, Pre-Con seminars will take place – intensive, full-day training sessions focused on specific technological scenarios and practical skills.

The second day – June 4 – is the main conference day, aimed at the technical community. International speakers and industry practitioners will present real-world use cases, architectures, and proven approaches applicable in real projects, as well as new opportunities in data technologies. The program is structured around key technical areas, including development and work with SQL Server, data engineering and modern platforms such as Microsoft Fabric and Databricks, as well as analysis, visualization, and the use of artificial intelligence with Power BI and analytical tools.
